Olaplex No. 1, or Olaplex Bond Multiplier No. 1,

Acts at the molecular level, rebuilding broken disulphide bonds inside the hair

. These bonds are damaged by chemical treatments such as dyeing and bleaching, as well as by mechanical and thermal factors. Olaplex No. 1, acting as a building block, combines these bonds, strengthening the structure of the hair and increasing its resistance to damage. As a result, the hair becomes stronger, more elastic and less prone to breaking.

Olaplex No. 1 is usually used in hairdressing salons, added to the colouring mixture or applied to the hair after the lightening procedure. In the case of dyeing, it is added to the dye or brightener, and then applied to the hair. After rinsing the paint, Olaplex No. 2 is applied, which fixes the effect of Olaplex No. 1
